West Virginia University to launch online MBA program
Business professionals who wish to accelerate their careers may want to consider enrolling in campus-based or online masters degree programs, such as those that have been created by West Virginia University.
The school's College of Business and Economics has announced it will begin offering its Executive MBA (EMBA) program online this fall.
Degree candidates will be required to earn 48 credit hours through an online curriculum, which is designed to be completed in two years. Students will take one four- to eight-week course at a time so that they may focus on their personal and professional responsibilities while they pursue higher education.
In addition to the online courses, participants will be required to attend four residencies on the school's Morgantown, West Virginia and Washington, DC campuses. These conferences are intended to allow individuals to meet their classmates and establish a connection with the school.
Students may also choose to study abroad, as the school has distance education centers in Germany, Ireland, China, Poland, the Czech Republic and Italy.
Individuals who wish to learn international business firsthand may want to consider enrolling in similar online degree programs that can allow them to travel while they further their education.
