Webster University launches new online master's degree programs

Working adults and those serving in the armed forces may find it difficult to obtain a higher degree. Online degree programs, such as those that are available through Webster University, may be ideal for these students.
According to The Signal, the school recently announced that it will now provide master's of arts degrees in several different fields, including human resources and information technology management. The courses will not only be offered in classrooms on the Fort Gordon Army base, but individuals will also have the option to obtain the degree through Web-based learning. Active members of the armed forces and civilians will be able to sign up for the program as long as they already have a bachelor's degree.
Individuals who wish to further their education in these fields may find the new programs to be very rewarding regarding their career. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that there will be approximately 13,000 new jobs created for human resources managers by 2018 while about 49,500 information systems management positions will become available during that time.
The online courses may be an easier way for servicemen and women as well as working adults to maintain their professional schedule while they obtain a higher degree.
