Schools expand international master's programs
Some institutions are recognizing that individuals may wish to travel while they obtain a degree and are now increasing degree programs abroad. For instance, the American Graduate School (AGS) in Paris, which is affiliated with Arcadia University, recently announced it will now provide a master's in international relations and diplomacy, in France.
Students from multiple countries are enrolled in the program, including the U.S., Germany, Canada, Mexico, Nigeria, Georgia, Malaysia and Ghana. The faculty is also from various places around the globe.
The curriculum will involve a variety of topics, such as foreign policy formulation and diplomacy. H.E. Samira Hanna-El Daher, one of the professor's for the program at AGS, said that teaching to international students and "exchanging with them is a tremendously enriching experience."
Other institutions which offer similar international master's degrees may help students find careers as intelligence or policy analysts, managers for government programs, or economists, according to Payscale.com. These individuals could find there are ample opportunities and work for the Department of Defense, as the Federal Government is one of the nation's largest employers.
