Rollins College creates online MBA program for executives

Rollins College's Crummer Graduate School of Business has announced the availability of a new partially online degree program that was designed specifically for professionals with a great deal of experience.

The school's Key Executive MBA program is designed to give business leaders and executive-level employees a comprehensive understanding of several facets of their industry.

Coursework is designed to help these individuals make changes to their organizations and society through examinations of subjects such as accounting, finance, marketing and the global business environment.

Degree candidates will complete the program through a combination of online courses and monthly on-campus meetings with professors and fellow students.

Craig MacAllaster, dean of the school's MBA department, said the curriculum aims to allow "executives participating in the program will be able to share ideas, learn from their peers and immediately apply these skills to their organizations."

Senior-level business professionals may consider enrolling in similar degree programs and online colleges that could help them improve their management skills and stay abreast of emerging trends in their fields of expertise.
