Online MBA programs can give students a global business perspective
As the business sector continues to become more global, students and professionals may want to consider enrolling in online courses that can give them a better handle on the best industry practices of other countries.
To help experienced professionals learn how to conduct business internationally, the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles and the National University of Singapore's Business School have announced the availability of an MBA program for senior executives.
The 15-month program will include six two-week segments, which are intended to make the curriculum accessible to busy professionals from across the globe. While the course of study will focus on the Asian and North American markets, students will also learn about the business practices of many different nationalities, cultures, industries and functional backgrounds.
The program aims to transform students into "leaders with essential skill sets and leadership capabilities that are directly relevant to the most critical business and organizational issues in our rapidly globalizing world," said Chris Erickson, academic director for the program.
Individuals who wish to learn international business practices firsthand while they study may want to consider enrolling in online colleges, which can enable them to travel while they work toward a degree.
