Online MBA candidates achieve high pass rates for exams

Professionals in the business industry may find that obtaining an MBA could grant them a higher salary once they graduate. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), individuals who hold master's degrees can earn an average of $1,257 each week.
As of late, some Web-based MBA programs have reported that the students enrolled have exhibited a high level of expertise in their field, which could lead them to professional success.
For example, Penn State students who were working toward an online MBA scored in the top 10 percent on a national exam that was administered by Educational Testing Service. The MBA Major Field Test measured their knowledge on a wide range of subjects including managerial accounting, marketing, finance and management.
The school's online MBA program is designed for professionals who may already have a job but would like to enhance their skills and knowledge within the workplace. These degree seekers may work in fields such as business, healthcare or engineering.
Working adults in these industries may want to consider enrolling in an online MBA program because convenient education options could lead them to high-paying career opportunities. Payscale.com reports that a chief executive officer (CEO) with this degree has the potential to earn a salary of more than $200,000 annually.
