Online education provider expands offerings for legal, business professionals
Students and working adults who wish to improve their career prospects in the legal and business sectors may consider enrolling in online degree programs, such as those offered by High-Tech Institute.
The St. Louis Park, Minnesota-based college has announced the addition of three new associates degree programs.
Students who attend the school, which features both campus-based and online learning options, will be able to pursue two-year degrees in paralegal studies, accounting technology and business management.
All three programs are intended to prepare professionals for entry-level positions in their respective fields.
Paralegal students will take classes in civil law and litigation, criminal law and adversarial process, family law and property, transactional law, business law, estate planning and probate, administrative law as well as alternate dispute resolution.
The accounting technology program will combine core classes in the field with technological curriculum.
Degree candidates in the business management track will receive an introduction to the social, behavioral, managerial and informational sciences.
Professionals in these fields may consider taking online courses that can allow them to enhance their qualifications while gain experience in a corporate setting.
