Working adults who wish to pursue an advanced business degree at a campus-based or online college may wish to supplement their coursework with advice from seasoned professionals or conferences, such as those that will be offered by the University of Chicago and Deutsche Bank.

The financial institution has announced it will partner with the college's Booth School of Business to launch a speakers series for MBA candidates and a summer conference for students in its PhD program.

The first in a series of speeches from business experts and professionals, called Risk and Regulation in Financial Markets will take place on February 9 at the school's Harper Center. Douglas Diamond, a professor of finance at Booth, will give the inaugural presentation.

Over the summer, the school will host a conference that will focus on the regulation of financial markets and complement the PhD program. Degree candidates and junior faculty from business schools across the country will be invited to attend.

These initiatives are intended to enable future business leaders to address the risk management and regulation issues that led to the economic downturn, according to school officials.

Business professionals who wish to accelerate their careers may want to consider enrolling in online universities, which could allow them to attend educational conferences or seminars.
