The United States Center for Entrepreneurship (USCFE) has kicked off its Business Blunders and Lessons Learned initiative, which will feature teleseminars and online education programs on small business ownership.

As a part of the Ewing Marion Kaufman Foundation's Global Entrepreneurship week, which will be held from November 16 to the 22, the USCFE will offer budding and experienced entrepreneurs the opportunity to discuss and learn about mistakes to avoid when starting and running a business.

The organization will feature online business programs led by experts such as Jay Conrad Levinson of Guerrilla Marketing, Ivan Misner of BNI and Lita Epstein, author of Complete Idiot's Guide to Accounting. Program topics include starting a business, business ideas, writing a business plan and angel investors.

Business owners are also invited to contribute content to the programs, whether they prefer to do so anonymously or use the classes to gain publicity.

David Meadows, executive director of the USCFE, said the online business classes aim to inform professionals and students of "mistakes and lessons learned across numerous topics" in order to "increase the speed and success rates for starting a small business."

Budding entrepreneurs may consider adding such classes to an online MBA program to accelerate their business-starting initiatives.
