Soldiers who take online courses in business while they serve may be more likely to gain acceptance to business schools, including those that have recently received recognition from Military MBA, when they return.

The organization, which helps veterans find MBA programs that can cater to their needs, recently released its list of universities that provide the greatest value to students who are benefitting from the GI Bill.

Researchers created the list by comparing each school's financial assistance programs for veterans to its ranking according to U.S. News and World Report.

A total of six schools offer large tuition waivers for military students and achieved high rankings from the magazine. According to the organization, Dartmouth College, Duke University, Washington University, the University of Michigan, the University of North Carolina and Carnegie Mellon are the most cost-effective business schools for veterans.

Service members may ease their transition to civilian life by pursuing higher education after they are discharged. Veterans may consider enrolling in online colleges that may allow them to look for jobs while they enhance their qualifications.
