MBA programs use updated technology to aid students' education

Management analysts will be in high demand over the next decade due in part to an increase in international business, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Professionals in this industry may want to consider obtaining an MBA that focuses on this topic.

Some business schools are providing updated technology for individuals obtaining a master's degree. At the University of the Incarnate Word, for example, Apple iPads are supplied for students in the MBA program who are enrolled in an international business course, Campus Technology reports.

The device will be integrated into the students' studies, and will allow them to use interactive databases and cloud file sharing. Pat Burr, a professor in the school's business department, says the iPads will "schedule assignments and methodically measure successes and opportunities."

Students will use the iPad to receive emails, save images to use in their presentations and take notes during class. Burr adds that the new addition to the MBA program will help individuals who want to advance in the workplace.

The BLS reports that over the next eight years, there will be 178,300 new jobs for management analysts. Professionals who would like to broaden their skills and knowledge may want to consider similar programs that integrate updated technology into their curricula.
