MBA degree programs are recognized worldwide
Some schools provide MBA programs that give enrollees the opportunity to travel while they complete their degree. In fact, some institutions are receiving recognition for curricula that allow students to gain international experience.
For example, one of Purdue University's MBA degree programs was recently named number 21 on a worldwide rankings list that was released by Financial Times. The course of study moved up three places from last year's spot.
The international master's in management (IMM) executive MBA that Purdue offers is a part of a collaboration with Tilburg University in the Netherlands, Central European University in Hungary and the German International School of Management at in Germany.
Individuals who are enrolled in the IMM executive MBA program are presented with the opportunity to study in China and Mexico, or any of the partnering schools' countries. These students are also allowed to complete the degree on a part-time basis through residencies and off-site learning options.
Chuck Johnson, executive director at Purdue, said that "our format not only permits students to balance work, family and school, but the on-site residencies immerse them in the locations where they are studying."
