Marylhurst University to increase its MBA offerings
Due to the popularity of Marylhurst University's online MBA in sustainable business, officials with the school have announced that they will expand the program to include an on-campus option.
Over the last 12 months, the university's online masters degree specialization has attracted more than 100 students looking to develop the skills necessary to enter the burgeoning field of sustainable business.
"Sustainability is becoming far more than a buzzword in the business world," said Alain Gracianette, chair of the university's MBA program.
"Learning how to shepherd the use of resources is becoming an integral part of every company's operations," he added. "And business leaders are becoming much more serious about sustainability not just because it's good for the planet, but because it makes good business sense."
Students who enroll in the program can select from concentrations in green development or renewable energy.
Marylhurst also offers several other online and on-campus MBA specializations, including graduate degrees in finance, healthcare management, general management, marketing, non-profit management, organizational behavior and real estate.
