Entrepreneurs to meet at Babson College

Business educators from around the world will join entrepreneurs at the 2010 Price-Babson Symposium for Entrepreneurship Educators May 31-June 4 at Babson College. Located in Wellesley, Massachusetts, the university is recognized internationally as a leader in entrepreneurial management education.

The intensive five-day program will explore the entrepreneurial process and core topics in the discipline. More than 35 entrepreneurship educators and nearly 30 entrepreneurs from the following countries will attend. In addition to the U.S., among the countries represented will be Canada, China, France, Germany, Guatemala, Ireland, Japan and Puerto Rico.

Among the topics for the program are: "The Entrepreneurial Teacher: The issues, The Challenges, The Stakes," "The Logic of Entrepreneurial Thought and Action" and "Constructing an Initial Resource Base: What I Have and What I Can Do."

Babson president Leonard Schlesinger, Babson faculty director Heidi Neck, Candida Brush, chair of Babson's entrepreneurship division and Babson professors Les Charm, Patricia Greene, Donna Kelley, Erik Noyes and Andrew Zacharakis are the faculty team for the program.

Since 1984, Babson has trained over 2,400 academics and entrepreneurs from over 550 academic institutions, government organization, and foundations in 57 countries.
