Chicago-based graduate school expands to Washington, DC

In an effort to help more budding psychologists gain the educational qualifications they will need to succeed in their field, The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP) has announced the launch of a new campus in Washington, DC.

School officials say that the new campus was built to answer the national demand for psychologists in a wide variety of sectors. Each course of study is intended to be convenient for working students, and enrollees will be able to choose from evening and online courses.

Initially, the school will offer masters degrees in forensic and counseling psychology. Individuals who already hold a masters degree in this field will be able to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, and choose from specializations in child and adolescent psychology, forensic psychology, international and multicultural psychology or general clinical psychology.

Orlando Taylor, the president of the DC campus, said that the new location is intended to "integrate TCSPP's dedication to innovation, diversity, community and service into its several degree programs as it prepares the next generation of psychologists for the Washington region, the nation and indeed the world."
