Business students may attend panel discussions, take online courses for a well-rounded education

Those who are taking classes or enrolling in an online degree program may supplement their educational efforts by attending panelist discussions such as the one that will be held at Babson College.

The college, located in Wellesley, Massachusetts, will host a conversation among mass-customization executives Thursday prompted by the theme: How Mass Customization Can Create Value and Profit.

Paragon Lake, a jewelry company that practices mass customization, will sponsor the event, which will encourage discussion and explanation as to how mass customization can offer goods and services tailored to their clients efficiently and profitably.

The event aims to offer information that is valuable to entrepreneurs, marketers, mass customization professionals, business executives, journalists and business students.

Matt Lauzon, president and founder of Paragon Lake, said the panelists will showcase how "companies [which] are focusing on strategies that embrace a close relationship to customers" can use mass customization "to provide [their clients] with exactly what they want at an efficient level."

Online MBA programs may provide prospective business executives opportunities to attend similar events in order to stay abreast of emerging trends.
