TUI University rolls out tuition assistance program for National Guard members
Officials with TUI University, an accredited provider of undergraduate and graduate online degree programs, have announced that the school will partner with the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) to provide low-cost educational opportunities to servicemen and women around the country.
Through the collaboration, more than 400,000 National Guard soldiers and airmen will be eligible for the university's military discount program, which enables students to take up to seven courses per year at no charge when utilizing their full Department of Defense tuition assistance stipend.
EANGUS members not eligible for tuition assistance can receive a discounted rate of 27.5 percent for graduate level courses and 15 percent for undergraduate classes.
"TUI has a strong, ongoing commitment to all branches of the military and our own military students," said Kenneth Sobaski, president of the university.
"This collaboration will help the association in their endeavors on Capitol Hill, and deliver the benefits of [higher education] to EANGUS members," he added.
