NECB joins ranks of Yellow Ribbon schools

An online degree has never been more available and affordable, especially for veterans and service members who want to transition into a new civilian career or build on previous degrees.
Universities such as the New England College of Business and Finance (NECB) have been designated as a Yellow Ribbon school by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Yellow Ribbon program was created to reduce higher education costs for veterans.
"New England College of Business understands the obligation that all of us have to our veterans and our online degree programs fit perfectly into a veteran's life and budget. We are very proud to partner with the VA to provide high quality, affordable, and accredited degrees to all veterans and service members," said Howard Horton, NECB's President.
All degree programs are recognized by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. They are offered exclusively online, and include a variety of online student support services, as well as a robust online library. Masters degree programs are also available online and can be completed online in 15 months. The GMAT is not required for admissions.
Veterans may also be able to make use of the Post-9/11 GI Bill to alleviate the already reduced costs of an online degree, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. In many cases, there is no deductible for service personnel and the size of the benefit is scaled to the state and institution that the veteran is attending.
