Business school to award full scholarship for MBA program
As the cost of attending campus-based and online colleges continues to rise, many institutions are increasing their financial aid options to ensure that their students can achieve their educational goals.
For example, Chapman University's Argyros School of Business and Economics has announced it will award a scholarship to a degree candidate in its Flex MBA program, OC Metro reports.
Through its Tomorrow's Leaders Scholarship program, the college will award $57,500 to one student who wishes to pursue their MBA in order to make a difference in their community. Like many online MBA programs, the school's 51-credit flex program is intended to benefit students who have busy lives, as it enables them to make their own schedules and requires only one evening meeting each week.
Entrants must be nominated on the scholarship's website before May 11. Each candidate will then be asked to write a personal statement detailing how they would use their business school education to make a positive impact on their communities.
Scholarship organizers will then host an on-campus event for finalists, where they will announce the winners, according to the school's website.
