Online university adds new business administration degree
Drexel University, an accredited provider of online education, has recently announced that it has added a bachelor of business administration degree program to the offerings of the Lebow College of Business.
The program is designed to help students build quantitative knowledge, develop an understanding of today's global organizations and identify the functional areas of business. The curriculum will include courses in economics, social and legal systems as well as effective communication methods.
"We're very proud to offer our students the Drexel curriculum within this convenient online format," said Kenneth Hartman, academic director for Drexel University Online.
"All of our online programs, including our online bachelor of science in business administration, are taught by the same faculty as our on-campus courses," he added.
The online degree is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
Today, nearly 4 million students are taking online courses and earning online college degrees. At the secondary school level, more than 700,000 high school students are taking one or more courses online and nearly 40 states have established state-led virtual schools.
