Online education provider ranks the 11 highest paying jobs out of college

EarnMyDegree.com, part of the prospecting services division of Education Dynamics, a one-stop directory for undergraduate and advanced online degrees, has recently put together a reference guide of the 11 highest paying jobs for new college graduates.

Atop the list is an investment banker, who can expect to make about $112,000 a year. Coming in second is a software developer who makes, on average, about $84,000 a year. These positions often necessitate higher education, which can be difficult for some who are already working or for those who need flexibility in their schedule.

Online education is a cost-effective and flexible option for those who would like to earn their degree but find it difficult to attend classes on campus because of distance, family or work commitments.

Other high-paying positions on the list include an actuary, an engineer, a network systems administrator and a financial analyst.

EarnMyDegree.com also found that among the 30 fastest growing occupations in the U.S., a total of 23 of them require a college degree.

Today, over 3.5 million students are taking online courses and earning online college degrees. At the secondary school level, over 700,000 high school students are taking one or more courses online and nearly 40 states have established state-led virtual schools.
