Franklin University, a provider of online degree programs, has been recognized for the second year in a row for being a "best value" among schools that offer online MBA programs.

A recent survey by consumer group GetEducated.com evaluated 90 regionally accredited business schools that offer 250 different MBA degrees via distance education.

Students pursuing a masters of business administration degree at Franklin University can expect to spend about $20,000, compared to the average cost of $22,924 for a regionally accredited online masters in business.

"Distance learning has made higher education more accessible nationwide but cost remains a huge inhibiting factor," said Vicky Phillips, GetEducated.com's founder. "Franklin University offers online students nationwide a chance at a high-quality master's degree through distance learning at less than the cost of the national average. That's an amazing value proposition."

In addition to online degree programs, Franklin University has a main campus in Columbus, Ohio, three central Ohio locations and a new campus located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The university offers 27 undergraduate majors and three graduate programs. About 1,500 students graduate from Franklin University each year.
