University launches online bachelor's degree in business management

As business becomes more complex, a number of firms are relying on management analysts to help them remain competitive in the current economic climate. These professionals, who are often referred to as management consultants, create ways to improve an organization's structure, efficiency or profits, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reports.

Those who wish to enter a career in this field may find the best job opportunities after graduating from a campus-based or online degree program. For example, Langston University recently announced that it will offer an online bachelor's degree in business administration, with an emphasis on management. The degree will be offered through a new partnership with Education Online Services (EOServe).

"Langston University online degree program under the leadership of President JoAnn W. Haysbert and the Langston faculty will now make it possible for students across Oklahoma and from around the world to acquire the best in a college education from a prestigious university," stated Benjamin Chavis, president of EOServe.

According to the BLS, employment of management analysts is expected to grow by 24 percent over the next eight years, which is nearly double the national average for all other occupations.
