Partnership announces fast-track business degree

Yaeger CPA Review and Ellis University have announced a partnership to respond to the needs of many working adults in the field of accounting and offer a fast-track MBA program that leverages their CPA certification.

Specifically, the university will allow CPA to receive up to 9 credits toward their MBA, leaving them with only 27 credits left to complete their business degree.

Yaeger, which offers CPA Exam preparatory programs, underscores "the value of holding the CPA certificate and license, along with prestige and power of an MBA." It further adds that the flexibility of the online programs offered by Ellis was the main reason it partnered with this particular school.

Online degrees are typically substantially cheaper than traditional instruction and thus well-suited for busy working adults who have to juggle various responsibilities. In fact, the new partnership estimates the savings for students stemming from the offer to exceed $6,000.

According to PayScale.com, a research company, the average salaries for holders of MBA degrees ranged from $73,510 to $171,583 in 2008, depending on the field, position and years of experience.
