Minnesota’s higher education program includes 32 institutions in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System, and five major campuses of the University of Minnesota. There are also more than 20 private colleges and universities. The Office of Higher Education orchestrates a public information initiative that is supported by the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, the University of Minnesota, the Minnesota Private College Council, the Minnesota Career Colleges Association, and the Minnesota Department of Education. Programs offered range from two-year degrees to doctoral degrees.
